Repair works will soon begin on the Yeungroon Creek floodway on Yeungroon Road after being damaged in the October 2022 flood and storm event. These works will include the road pavement and surfacing which will be replaced over the course of 6 weeks, beginning 19 February 2024.
To ensure community safety, a temporary road closure will be in place during this time along Yeungroon Road between Seven Mile Road and Nine Mile Road.
Yeungroon Road Northern Floodway:
The Yeungroon Creek floodway on Yeungroon Road will be repaired after being damaged in the October 2022 flood and storm event. The road pavement
and surfacing will be replaced.
Traffic Management:
Yeungroon Road Southern Floodway:
The floodway on Yeungroon Road south of the CFA Shed will be repaired after being damaged in the October 2022 flood and storm event. The
damaged pavement and surfacing will be replaced with a concrete floodway.
