Local Law Mayor in Sea Lake

Council has made a new Community Local Law.

The purpose of the community local law is to secure community safety, protect public assets and enhance community amenity.

The new Community Local Law has some minor changes from the previous version including changes around camping guidelines, the storage of unregistered vehicles and drinking alcohol on footpaths outside hotels. There have also been minor changes made to the penalty schedule.

The local law came into effect 1 July 2019 and you can view the local law at www.buloke.vic.gov.au/local-laws or you can grab a copy from Council’s Wycheproof office.
