Since that meeting Council has sought quotes to erect a fence around the site to block out its unsightly nature.

A fencing contractor has been appointed and relevant permits are being sought ahead of the work beginning in the coming weeks.

Council continues to try negotiate with the property owner and his representatives to seek cooperation in the clean-up of the site.
