Buloke Shire Council is committed to creating a child safe and child friendly environment where children and young people are respected, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.  Council has zero tolerance of child abuse.  Council’s human resources, recruitment and vetting processes are strictly adhered to during the application and interviewing process.  Applicants should be aware that Council requires all employees to hold a satisfactory National Police Records check and, in specified positions, a satisfactory Working with Children Check is also required. 

All staff must adhere to Council’s Child Safe Policy and procedures and ensure that any reasonable suspicion of abuse to children or young people is reported.

  • Lifeguards Expression of Interest We are looking for pro-active, focused and motivated individuals of all ages to join our Pool Lifeguard Team for the 2024/25 swimming pool season. Positions are available at our seven outdoor pools located in Berriwillock, Birchip, Charlton, Donald, Sea Lake, Watchem and Wycheproof.
