2025 Council Australia Day Awards
Each year Council recognises outstanding contributions to the community by presenting the following awards for the whole of Buloke Shire.
- Citizen of the Year (for persons 25 years or older on 26 January 2025).
- Young Citizen of the Year (for persons aged 15 to 24 years on 26 January 2025).
- Community Event of the Year Award (Presented to the person/group who has staged the most outstanding community event during the year).
Winners will be announced at our Australia Day Eve event to be held at:
Local Community eventswill be held on Australia Day, 26 January 2024.

Nominations for these award are now open and can be made by downloading the Australia Day Awards Nomination Form.
Nominations are to be received by close of business Friday 22 November 2024.
