Public Health

Buloke Shire Council’s Environmental Health team promotes the health and well-being of its communities through a range of public health programs.

The Environmental Health team works towards the prevention of infectious disease and the minimisation of public health risks throughout the Shire. Programs include food safety surveillance, immunisation services, regulation of domestic waste water disposal, tobacco education and enforcement, and the investigation of public health nuisance complaints.
