Tenderers must obtain Tender documents by downloading the documents through the Buloke Shire Council eTendering system.

Tenders must be lodged as per the instructions detailed in the Tender documentation. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Late, e-mail or facsimile tenders will not be accepted.

e-Procurement Portal

Our e-Procurement portal is based around simplifying the tender process for both our organisation and our suppliers. As a supplier you can register free of charge to download tender documents quickly and easily.

Posted on this portal are our Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Tenders (RFTs) and Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and as a registered user you will have access to download documentation, ask questions and respond online saving you valuable time.

External Plant Hire and Associated Services (Schedule of Rates) 

The Buloke Shire Council invites tenders from suitable plant and machinery hire/supply companies and civil contractors for the hire of machinery and plant to Buloke Shire Council for a range of Council projects including the repair to and construction of road infrastructure at various locations throughout the municipality.

The Contract will be a schedule of rates contract subject to annual price adjustment for rise and fall in prices for a panel of suppliers for each machinery category for the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2022.

Works that may be required include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Gravel road resheet/patching;
  • Gravel road table drain re-establishment;
  • Gravel road maintenance grading;
  • Gravel footpath/walking trail construction and maintenance
  • Earth formed road maintenance grading;
  • Sealed road patching (including application of bituminous surfacing);
  • Sealed road gravel shoulder reconstruction/resheet/maintenance grading;
  • Sealed road table drain re-establishment;
  • Cleaning of culverts and outfall drains;
  • Removal of roadside and bridge/culvert debris;
  • Excavation and removal of road pavement;
  • Construction of reinforced concrete paving;
  • Installation of rock beaching;
  • Installation of drainage culverts and endwalls;
  • Linemarking of road markings/school crossing markings/statcon linemarking
  • Installation of road signage and guide posts
  • Roadside slashing
  • Roadside spraying
  • Street sweeping/flushing, pit cleaning (suction truck), underground drainage clearing (high pressure flushing and rotary root clearing)
  • Supply and establishment of Traffic Management Devices
  • Development of Traffic Management Plan and acquire MoA for traffic management works
  • Incidental and miscellaneous works.

No guarantee of work under the contract can be given.

Tenderers are solely responsible for ensuring that they allow sufficient time for their submission to upload before the tender closing time.

Expression of Interest to Manage The Wycheproof Caravan Park, Calder Highway, Wycheproof

Buloke Shire Council invites expressions of interest from suitable organisations for the management of the Wycheproof Caravan Park. Given the high-profile Calder Highway frontage, Council is interested in proposals that will build upon the current tourism and economic development offerings in Wycheproof.
