Small Towns Big Difference - Springboards 16 Local Projects In Buloke
The Small Towns Big Difference Fund program pilot received 30 applications from across the Buloke Community, with 16 of these being successful.
Community groups across seven towns will deliver a diverse range of projects covering the arts, the environment, youth engagement and education.
These projects will help build the capacity of community organisations, grow community pride and increase resilience – helping to build more livable communities in Buloke Shire.
The STBD fund is a priority of the Mallee Regional Partnership fund and is the result of a collaboration between the Mallee Regional Partnership, the Buloke Shire and the Bendigo Adelaide Bank.
The Victorian Government provided $60,000 to pilot the fund and this funding was matched with contributions from the Charlton Community Bank, the Donald Community Bank, the Bendigo Adelaide Bank and the Buloke Shire to create a total pool of $120,000.
The Community Enterprise Foundation (CEF), a charitable trust, is working with the funding partners to hold and manage the distribution of funds to grant recipients.
