Online Launchpad Workshops stimulate local business ideas

Buloke recently received a burst of entrepreneurial energy, hosting a dynamic online luncheon 3-day event last month that attracted 26 forward-thinking participants from across the shire and beyond.

The gathering served as a vibrant launching pad for innovative ideas—from creative start-up names and medical support initiatives for rural areas to community volunteer projects.

“These lunch-and-learn events were all about sparking creativity and providing the support needed to turn innovative ideas into reality,” said Buloke Mayor Cr Alan Getley.

“Sometimes, all it takes is a little momentum and a supportive environment to transform a concept into a thriving business or project.”

Participants had the opportunity to explore their ideas, receive expert guidance, and build connections that will help propel their ventures forward.

The Make A Change Program, delivered by Jumpleads, is renowned for creating a collaborative atmosphere and have a strong understanding of the needs of the Buloke community.

“It comes at a time that our community is needing a boost, recognising the importance of community and support in driving the future of business innovation across Victoria,” added the Mayor.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this opportunity under the Victorian and Australian Government’s Community Recovery Program and look forward to hearing more about some of the innovative projects that have moved ahead as a result of this initiative.”
