Buloke Welcomes Experienced Local Government Leader Travis Fitzgibbon

Buloke Shire Council will welcome back experienced local government executive Travis Fitzgibbon as Director Infrastructure and Delivery, following a comprehensive recruitment and selection process.

Buloke Shire Council CEO Daniel McLoughlan said Travis brings extensive organisational leadership and strategic planning experience, together with a strong working knowledge of the Buloke municipality and its communities.

“Travis has a deep understanding of our organisation and the needs of our communities,”

“His experience and proven leadership will play an important role in driving our strategic objectives and supporting the continued growth and resilience of Buloke Shire Council.”

Travis previously worked at Buloke for nine years, holding several senior leadership roles including Director Community Development, Interim Director Corporate and Organisational Performance, and Manager Customer Engagement.

For the past two years, he has worked in the Office of the Chief Executive at Macedon Ranges Shire Council, where he served as Manager Communications and Advocacy.

Travis will commence in the role on 16 March 2026.
