Please note that Council will be closed from 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 24 December 2025 until 8:30am Friday, 2 January 2026. For emergencies, please call 1300 520 520 and follow the prompts for the service response required.
Pools: will be open on days where the temperature is forecast to be 22oC or over except for Christmas Day when all pools will be CLOSED. Any unscheduled pool closures will be advertised on Council's Facebook Page.
Council Maternal and Child Health Centres: will be CLOSED from 12:00 noon Wednesday, 24 December 2025, reopening on Friday, 2 January 2026. Contact the 24-hour Maternal and Child Health Line on 132 229 (the line is open during public holidays).
Library Services: will be CLOSED from 12:00 noon Friday, 19 December 2025 until Monday, 5 January 2026. Onlinelibrary services will still be available during this time via BorrowBox - www.buloke.borrowbox.com Visit the Council’s website www.buloke.vic.gov.au/libraries for updates.
Kerbside Collection and Landfill For all kerbside and recycle collections please ensure bins are out the night before collection and accessible to the garbage truck. Services are as follows:
Wednesday 24 December 2025 Normal garbage service for Berriwillock, Culgoa, Nandaly, Nullawil and Sea Lake. Wycheproof's Thursday collection will be moved to Wednesday 24 December 2025. Residents will need to put BOTH BINS out on Tuesday evening.
Thursday 25 December 2025 (Christmas Day)
All Landfills and Transfer Stations CLOSED No Kerbside collections on Christmas Day
Thursday 1 January 2026 (New Year’s Day)
No change to service arrangements.
