In many instances a Notice of Application period must take place before a planning permit can be granted. During this period, the application will be publicly advertised, and members of the community have the right to formally object to the granting of the permit.
If you wish to lodge an objection to a planning application with Council, please call 1300 520 520 to discuss the matter first. Objections must be based on valid planning reasons and not purely on personal opinion.
