Sea Lake Recreation Master Plan Update – Have Your Say
Buloke Shire Council is supporting the Sea Lake community to help shape the future of sport and recreation through the development of a new Sea Lake Recreation Master Plan.
Council wants to hear from YOU on how to plan for recreational places and space—your ideas and feedback that reflect local recreational needs and priorities, including opportunities for informal recreation and leisure activities will help guide this important work.
Project Purpose:
The Master Plan will guide future investment and development of sport and recreation facilities in Sea Lake. Council is working with Otium Planning Group and local stakeholders to ensure the plan is community-informed and future-focused.
How You Can Get Involved?
Consult: We’re seeking feedback through surveys and drop-in sessions.
Involve: We’re working directly with community groups and stakeholders to ensure concerns and aspirations are understood and considered.
Engagement Opportunities
Consultation Sessions – Tuesday 2 September
- 3:00pm–4:00pm – Golf and Bowls User Groups
- 4:30pm–5:30pm – Community Drop-In & Tyrrell College Stakeholders (This session is open to all residents, including those not affiliated with formal user groups).
- 5:30pm–6:30pm – Reserve User Groups (Football, Netball, Hockey, Tennis, Cricket)
Community Drop-In Sessions
These sessions are open to all residents, including those not affiliated with formal user groups.
- 2:30pm–4:00pm – Sea Lake Foorworks
- 4:30pm–6:00pm – Former Sea Lake Visitor Information Centre
Community Survey
Open: 8 September
Closes: 19 September

Project Timeline:
- 8–19 September 2025 - Engagement Community Survey
- 19 November 2025 - Council Review Endorsement for Public Exhibition of Draft Sea Lake Recreation Master Plan
- February 2026 - Finalisation Adoption of Master Plan
