Notice to Sea Lake residents - the transfer station will not be operating during total fire ban days.

Temporary opening hour changes – Birchip Landfill & Sea Lake Transfer Station

Open as normal: Sun, Wed & Fri.

Closed on: Mondays (for the remainder of April and the month of May - effective Tuesday, 21 April 2026).

General Waste Delivery Limits

Please be advised we only accept 2m general waste at Transfer Stations.

Note: Concrete and bricks are only accepted at the Birchip and Donald Landfills.

Landfill Operations on Total Fire Ban Days

Council's Landfills and Transfer Station can now continue to operate on days of Total Fire Ban. If the facilities are to close on events like Code Red Days, Council will communicate these changes.
