Two roles available, one based in the South, and one based in the North of the Shire. Your Contribution - Building a Better Buloke: As the Team Leader Road Services, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our road network infrastructure. Your leadership and expertise will ensure the efficient delivery of maintenance works, contributing to the safety and well-being of our community. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Coordinate the planning and delivery of Council’s Road Preventive Maintenance program, conduct timely inspections and address issues on the local road network in accordance with Council’s Road Management Plan and Transport Asset Management Plan Induct and supervise subcontractors and others employed on worksites to achieve program objectives Coordinate Roads staff involved in the operations of Council’s Road Preventive Maintenance Program Assist in preparation of budget estimates and capital improvement program recommendations for road projects Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Delivery Department to identify opportunities for service enhancement Maintain accurate records and documentation related to road maintenance activities What Buloke can offer you: Discover the unparalleled beauty and charm of the Buloke region while pursuing a rewarding career with Buloke Shire Council.
