Based in Birchip, Charlton and Sea Lake

From $62,751 per annum, Band 2, plus statutory superannuation

Council is seeking an enthusiastic team player, who is available to work permanent part time or full time, based in Birchip, Charlton and Sea Lake.

We are seeking someone who possesses a great work ethic and wants to be part of a team that develops the skills and abilities of its members.

The position responsibilities will include:

• This position is responsible for carrying out routine preventative maintenance and ongoing improvements to enhance the visual amenity of Open Spaces including continuous improvement in footpath, drainage and streetscape standards. Along with the aesthetic outlook and vibrancy of parks, lawns, public and tourist amenities provided by Council.

Previous experience in the operation of ride-on mowers, ancillary parks, gardens tools and vehicles over 4.5 tonnes GCM to 13.9 tonnes GCM; (truck, front-end loader) is desirable but not essential.
