$85,000- $95,000 Full Time Fixed Term Contract

Are you passionate about creating positive interactions with customers in person and online? 

Buloke Shire Council is looking for an experienced media and communications professional that can bring strong management skills and deliver a customer first approach. This is a fixed term contract until 30th June 2024 with possibility of further opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of council communications and engagement, including social media, marketing and advertising
• Manage customer service team
• Coordinate, maintain and implement policies, strategies and systems to maximise the efficient delivery of customer service

About you:

• Be media savvy with the ability to communicate across all media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
• Thrive on challenge and possess ambition to drive change
• Ability to blend political sensitivity and operational focus to achieve positive community outcomes.
• Qualifications or experience in PR, journalism, marketing or communications, including social media
