Are you a strategic leader with the vision and influence to deliver meaningful regional outcomes Buloke Shire Council is seeking an exceptional Executive Lead – Regional Growth & Strategic

Advocacy to champion our advocacy agenda, attract investment and funding, and position Buloke as a thriving, investment-ready municipality.

In this role you will:

Lead Council's strategic advocacy, regional growth and investment attraction initiatives while developing strong partnerships with government, industry and regional stakeholders.

Secure external funding and investment opportunities, influence policy outcomes, and drive economic development projects that support jobs, infrastructure and sustainable community growth.

Provide high-level strategic advice to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Council, while leading a collaborative, high-performing team and delivering Council's regional growth priorities.

To be successful in this role you will:

Bring significant senior leadership experience in economic development, regional development, strategic advocacy or public policy, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications.

Demonstrate success influencing government, securing funding, delivering major strategic initiatives and building productive partnerships across government, business and the community.

Be an engaging and politically astute leader with exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship management skills, capable of providing strategic advice and leading high-performing teams in a complex environment.
