Draft Financial Plan 2026-2036
Overview
The Draft Financial Plan 2026-2036 is a long-term forecast that demonstrates Council’s key strategic objectives will be resourced and monitored to achieve the actions within the Council Plan 2025-2029 and the aspirations of the Community Vision. It sets out Council's project income, expenditure, and investment priorities for the next 10 yeas. It provides a framework to ensure resources are managed responsibility and aligned with community needs.
This strategic plan meets statutory requirements and reflects Council’s commitment to long-term financial sustainability, aligning asset renewal and service priorities with available funding.
Council has committed to revise its Financial Plan on an annual basis. This is the first revision from the Adopted Financial Plan 2025-2035 in October 2025.

Submissions must be received in writing no later than 5pm on Monday 19 October 2026 and can be provided in the following ways:

- In person: Provide a hard copy submission to Wycheproof Customer Service Centre, 367 Broadway, Wycheproof, VIC 3527
- Mail: Address your submission to – Buloke Shire Council - Submissions, PO Box 1, Wycheproof, VIC 3527.
To ensure your submission is valid please include your name, postal address, a contact phone number, email address (if you have one) and details of your submission.
Please indicate in your submission if you would like to attend a Submissions Hearing to discuss it with Council on Monday 26 October in Wycheproof.
Following the consultation and review period, the Financial Plan 2026-2036 will be consdiered at the Council Meeting on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
