Community and Sustainability Grants Program

The Buloke Shire Council Community Grants are currently on hold as the 2025/2026 FY grant pool has been exhausted.
Applications already submitted will be processed accordingly and applicants contacted directly.

Our Community Grants program assists in creating a community that is resilient, inclusive and thriving.
Our community grants support programs, activities, and services that:
- create opportunities for community participation and social connection,
- celebrate and support the diverse cultures of Buloke Shire,
- try new and innovative initiatives,
- increase accessibility and inclusion for all members of the community, and
- strengthen community-led groups and volunteering.
Our Sustainability Grants program assists in creating a community that is reducing their impact on their local environment.
Our sustainability grants support programs, activities, and services that:
- minimises the Buloke Shire’s carbon footprint,
- improving the Buloke Shire’s environment, or
- conserving resource usage.
We seek applications from incorporated, not-for-profit community groups in Buloke Shire that align with Council’s vision and values.
Applications for Community and Sustainability Grants can be received throughout the year. All applications for grants must be:
- based in Buloke Shire, and
- benefit the Buloke Shire community.
