Temporary Part-Time
(0.5 per fortnight with the option of additional hours up to .8 for a limited period)
Based in Wycheproof
$32.12 per hour plus statutory superannuation

Buloke Shire Council is currently seeking a positive and motivated person to join our Human Resources department on a Temporary part time basis. Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, the Human Resources Officer will be responsible for providing high quality, customer-focused human resource support to staff within the Council. This position will be 5 days per fortnight with an additional 4 days per fortnight due to current maternity leave.
Tasks include:

  • Monitor and coordinate Council’s human resources management system and provide support to managers and supervisors to ensure timely annual performance reviews are conducted.
  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process including letters of offer, on boarding documentation and associated procedures including induction process.
  • Provide consistent and objective advice and support to managers, supervisors and staff on all aspects of the Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures, and legislative obligations.
  • Support the delivery of Council’s training program ensuring compliance with regulatory training requirements and staff professional development needs.
  • Have at least two years’ experience working within a Human Resources team.
