Have Your Say - Road Asset Management Plan

Have Your Say - Roads Asset Management Plan

Buloke Shire Council is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Road Management Plan in close consultation with the Buloke Shire community.

The Road Management Plan delivers a considered and planned approach to the operational management of all Buloke-owned roads. Through the community consultation presentation sessions, we will gain input and feedback into the current management of the roads in Buloke, and use this information to optimise future expenditure, while also matching communities expectation of service.

The purpose of community consultation is to assist Council in determining appropriate standards, issues and expectations of roads in regard to:

  • Accessibility
  • Support for existing and emerging industries
  • Road Safety
  • Responsiveness (By Council)
  • Quality (Appearance, ride quality, etc)
  • Environmental issues (e.g., health of roadside vegetation and waterways)

How community can be involved.

  • Fill out a community survey. Complete the survey here. You can also collect a hard copy from the Buloke Shire Office in Wycheproof, or call 1300 520 520 to request a hard copy be mailed to you.
Surveys must be completed by 1 December 2021.
  • Attend your local information session to discuss the plan with the project team.
These community information sessions will run for around 2 hours and will involve a presentation by the project team, and there will be a conversation after the presentation regarding the roads in the area.
